Sweat in the City was formed in 2016 from a series of soca fitness classes which led to the creation of The Soca Fitness Fete in 2017, a soca fitness party where a variety of soca fitness instructors teach their style of workout to a live DJ.  The popularity of these events grew to over 200 people in attendance!

The aim of our events is to promote good health, fitness and wellness to an inclusive community.  We welcome all backgrounds, ages and levels.  We want to bring people together to inspire them to make healthy changes to their lifestyle.  Our fitness parties offer a unique experience that many have not seen before.  We have other surprises that you need to attend to see ... we dont want to tell you everything now do we but it is our special touches that bring our clientele back to each event we host.

The Sweat in the City team have maintained a hands-on approach ensuring that each 'Sweat in the City' experience continues the way the clients have come to expect from our live events.  Sweat in the City pride themselves on a business that have helped many members start their fitness journey, get through the lockdown period, get in shape, feel stronger, have a positive outlook on life and look and feel great! 

In 2022 we welcomed back our live in person fitness parties after the 2 year break and will be continuing and focusing more on bringing everyone together with our amazing array of instructors bringing vibes to our fitness parties.

Our expertise

All of our trainers are qualified fitness instructors.   We all follow and share the same ethics. With our experience and knowledge we have a strong team that can provide the training and motivation needed in order for you to have fun while getting an excellent workout.
